Hardy perennial. Elegant purple spotted foliage from wiry purple stems and purple flowers almost continuously - most distinct 20 x 50cm. Collected by Tony Avent 3800 feet altitude Sierra Chiquita Mountains, Mexico, 1994. Usefully self-seeds.
