Thalictrum 'Splendide' offers flowers the same size as T. delavayi, but the flower heads are immense on a similarly sized plant, and the flowering period is longer. Featuring sterile purple flowers with cream stamens from June to September, this plant grows up to 1.3 metres, with foliage reaching 50cm.

A cross between T. delavayi and T. elegans, bred by Thierry Delabroye, 'Splendide' is perfect for adding height and drama to garden borders or mixed plantings. Its unique flower form and extended blooming period make it a valuable addition to any garden, providing continuous interest throughout the summer months.
