Similar to Scilla peruviana and now accepted as a form of S.peruviana. Large heads of mauve-petalled flowers with bright blur ovaries and filaments from dark purple buds Apr-Jun depending on siting, glabrous foliage, 30cm.. Endemic to a small island W.of Sicily called Marettimo.
