Purple-blue flowers (slightly paler than in more normal kinds) Mar-Apr, 30cm. Dappled shade best. Collected Kurdistan. Distinctive. Synonym Fessia hohenackeri. Broad foliage appears in spring unlike S.greilhuberi which is narrower and autumnal.
