Sambucus Nigra 'Black Lace' is a stunning deciduous shrub featuring deeply cut, dark purple-black foliage that adds year-round drama to any planting scheme. From May to July, clusters of pink-red flowers create a striking contrast, followed by dark berries in autumn that attract wildlife.

Growing 3-4m tall, it can also be pruned hard (stooled) for a more compact shape and fresh new foliage each year. Perfect for borders, mixed plantings, and contemporary garden designs, this European Plant Variety Rights (PVR) protected cultivar cannot be propagated for resale. Also known by its synonym, 'Eva'.
