Purple-black leaves persist into the autumn, purple-red flowers May-Jun, 1-3m. Easy, sun. PVR - propagation for resale prohibited. Synonym 'Gerda'. Bred in 1996 by E.Malling. The flowers are scented and flavoured more strongly - better (pink) cordials.
