ROSA SPINOSISSIMA 'MERTHYR MAWR'
A dark bluish-leaved cultivar derived from seed collected on the dunes at Merthyr Mawr near Ogmore-on-Sea, Glamorgan. Cream flowers from dark striped chestnut buds and stems May-Jun, the bluish leaves have reddish serrated edges, good autumn colours, occasional flowers and black hips, bewitching, 1.5m.
