OREOPANAX DACTYLIFOLIUS
OREOPANAX DACTYLIFOLIUS
Oreopanax dactylifolius is a rare, exotic shrub from Mexico, resembling a cross between Fatsia and Pseudopanax. It features striking ivy-shaped leaves with a dense brown indumentum on the underside, forming a lush, round-topped habit.
From November to January, it produces elegant white flowers in compound umbels, adding winter interest. Growing to 1–2 metres, this unique evergreen thrives in sheltered, well-drained locations, making it an excellent choice for collectors and subtropical-style gardens.
