LOBELIA SESSILIFOLIA

Lily-like shoots in spring develop purple flowers without upper petal Jul-Sep, reddish stems, 75cm. Unusually it is completely deciduous having no overwintering rosettes, 70% hardy for me but hardier on sandy soils.
