HYPOXIS ROOPERI

Successive heads of large wachendorfia-like green-backed bright yellow flowers arise Jun-Sep, stiff keeled leaves in ranks, squat 30cm, cormous. Meant to be hardy Z7-10 but I suspect it's only frost hardy.
