HYACINTHOIDES ITALICA

HYACINTHOIDES ITALICA

Hyacinthoides italica, also known as the Italian bluebell, brings early spring colour and charm to dry, shaded areas where many plants hesitate to perform. Flowering from March to May, this delightful bulb produces vivid, bright blue spires that resemble traditional bluebells but bloom earlier in the season, adding a splash of woodland magic when it's most needed.

Reaching a tidy height of 25cm, it’s ideal for naturalising beneath deciduous trees or in shaded borders, and works wonderfully in wildflower style plantings. A fantastic low maintenance addition for early pollinators and bluebell lovers alike.
