By repute a hardy hippeastrum. Up to 4 stems of 6 scented vermilion flowers with a white star in the centres, Jun-Aug, short at 50cm. The broad green foliage takes on a coppery hue in full sun. (H.reginae x H.vittatum, circa 1800.) A heritage plant.
