Compact shrub. Open clusters of scented jasmine-like white flowers at a useful time of the year Sep-Oct (later than the species) with persistent red calyces, dark glossy and leathery foliage, 2.5m but can be kept smaller by pruning. It flowers even when small. Syn.H.jasminoides.
