HELIANTHUS 'LEMON QUEEN'
HELIANTHUS 'LEMON QUEEN'
Helianthus 'Lemon Queen' is a reliable and robust perennial sunflower, flowering prolifically from August to October. It bears elegant, pale lemon-yellow daisy-like blooms atop sturdy stems, reaching 1.5 - 2m tall.
Despite its size, it’s not invasive, and is well-behaved in borders. Excellent for late season colour, pollinators love it. This variety is a natural hybrid between Helianthus pauciflorus var. subrhomboideus and H. tuberosus, originating from the Midwest USA.
Ideal for sunny spots, prairie planting or adding height to mixed borders.
