This has the foliage and inflorescence shape of H.salicifolius but the flowers are larger, earlier, more scented of chocolate and the plant is smaller and the leaves less narrow. Broad yellow flowers 8cm wide Aug-Sep, narrow flowing foliage 2m. Clumper.
