Short stubby cactus-like succulent, single yellow-green flowers stud the tops of the stems May-Jun, 12cm. Wet and cold hardy. Seed collected dry Transvaal but extends to wet Drakensberg. Ooze from damaged plants is used as bird lime in SA.
