Ebracteate eryngium with stout straw-coloured stems, tall and narrow 1.5m x 30cm. Imposing and not very spiny. Seed collected top of pass, road from Salsipuede to La Fulva, Cordoba Province, Argentina. Unusually, this is the true species. Easy.
