A species so far unidentified but formerly wrongly identified as C.salonitana. Large yellow cornflowers Jul-Sep, in stately yet airy heads, clumps of broad silvery foliage which skeletonises in winter 1-2m. Seed collected Noravank Gorge, Ararat, Armenia.
