Purple-edged dark green pseudo-tropical foliage, and orange flowers Aug-Oct. Tender but easy to keep overwinter in a still, dry frost-free atmosphere (traditionally under the bed in the spare bedroom) or, if risked outside, they survive 8 times out of 10.
