BROMUS ERECTUS subsp.ERECTUS W&B BG B-5
Bromus erectus subsp. erectus W&B BG B-5 is a versatile grass with broad evergreen foliage that forms an orderly tussock, providing attractive winter interest. Growing up to 75cm tall, it features dense nodding fawn heads that add texture and movement to the garden.
Seed collected near the Turkish border in Malko Tarnovo, Bulgaria, at an altitude of around 500m, this grass thrives in a variety of conditions, including dry shade. Its hardiness and adaptability make it an excellent choice for naturalistic plantings, prairie gardens, or as a textural element in mixed borders. Its evergreen nature ensures year-round appeal, providing a beautiful backdrop to seasonal flowers and perennials.
