Broad yellow flowers from ferny foliage, (Feb)Mar-May, 20cm. Good alkaline soil. Plant it somewhere that will be as dry as possible in summer (like under deciduous trees with the sun slanting in) or, if pot grown must be kept summer dry. Finland to Italy.
