SAMBUCUS RACEMOSA 'LEMONY LACE'
SAMBUCUS RACEMOSA 'LEMONY LACE'
Sambucus racemosa 'Lemony Lace' is a stunning, compact elder with bright golden-yellow, finely dissected foliage, giving it a soft, feathery texture. Unlike traditional elders, this variety offers a vibrant pop of colour from early spring, followed by clusters of white flowers in late spring and brilliant red berries in autumn.
Reaching a manageable 1.2–1.5m in height, this hardy, low-maintenance shrub thrives in full sun to partial shade and is perfect for borders, mixed beds, or containers. Its drought tolerance and resistance to pests make it an excellent choice for both formal and wildlife-friendly gardens.
A true statement plant, 'Lemony Lace' brings year-round interest, offering foliage contrast, seasonal flowers, and autumnal berries that attract birds and pollinators.
